February 2022 TOPIC: “How to Inspect a Potential Purchase”

So, you finally did it – you got that phone call that someone is wanting to sell and now it’s time to actually walk the property. Or maybe you already got the contract signed and now you’re really getting into it. Nervous?

– What should you look out for?
– What is lurking behind those walls?
– How much does a roof cost?
– How much does paint cost?
– Any plumbing or electrical issues?
– When was the last time the septic was pumped?
– What to do if the electrical meter is gone?

All these questions and a thousand more are probably running through your head. Come out and get some answers and insight from two club mentors (Evan Brown and Jim Keller) who combined have flipped over 100 houses here in the IE as well as an extensive rental portfolio.

Evan Brown, one of the club’s Mentor’s, will be hosting this ongoing series with each event focusing on a different topic within getting started in REI. He has successfully completed over 100 deals as wholesales, flips, note selling and buying, and has added over 30 rental units to his portfolio here in the Inland Empire. A long-time member of the IEREIC with great well-rounded knowledge, Evan is looking forward to seeing everyone! See some examples of Evan’s flips @ https://www.instagram.com/sellthyhouse

Jim Keller, another club mentor, attended the very second meeting of the IEREIC over five years ago! The majority of his business revolves around deals involving other club members and what Jim likes best about the club is having access to people with diverse backgrounds, all of which will be used to excel in Real Estate investing. He knows that it is important to be an expert at redefining your mission in life, particularly in the midst of a changing investing environment. His perspective on the club, as well as investing in general, is “where there was nothing, we are making something.” See examples of Jim’s flips @ https://www.instagram.com/thekellerteam

This ongoing series will focus on a variety of topics from:

– Getting Started today!
– Thrive in the market and the club.

– Get your first deal!
– and much, much, more!
